IITE RECRUITMENT 2024 : Indian Institute of Teacher Education (State Public University of Government of Gujarat)
AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POSITION OF THE VICE-CHANCELLOR Indian Institute of Teacher Education, is established by the Gujarat Act, 08 of 2010, referred to as IITE Act. The Search Committee is constituted as per Section 12 of the IITE Act. The Committee invites applications/ nominations for the appointment of Vice-Chancellor along with the detailed bio-data.
IITE RECRUITMENT 2024
A person possessing the highest level of competence, integrity, morals, and institutional commitment is to be appointed as Vice-Chancellor. The person to be appointed as Vice-Chancellor should be a distinguished academician, with a minimum of ten years of experience as a Professor in a University system or ten years of experience in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organization with proof of having demonstrated academic leadership only such persons can apply or be nominated.

Qualifications for Vice-Chancellor
Distinguished academician with a minimum of ten years of experience as a Professor or in a reputed research/academic administrative organization.
Eligibility Criteria
Present and former Vice-Chancellors, Directors/Heads of Institutions, and eminent scholarly persons. Search Committee reserves the right to consider persons of eminence outside the listed nominations.
Recommendation Process
Search Committee will recommend a panel of three suitable persons to the State Government for consideration. State Government will appoint one from the recommended panel.
Term of Office
Five years from the date of entering office or until attaining the age of sixty-five, whichever is earlier. Not eligible for re-appointment.

Defined in Section 14 of the IITE Act.
