Business Analyst Job Description
Amazon is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of analytics and data visualization and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to apply analytics to solve customer and associate problems
- Provide business insights to help the company improve defect metrics and increase customer satisfaction in India
- Support the reporting function on key CS business metrics
- Build data pipelines to enable efficient customer escalations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience using data and metrics to define the needs to draw business insights
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role
- 2+ years of experience with SQL coding
Required Skills
- Experience working with databases and SQL in a business environment
- Knowledge of creating visualizations in MS Excel, Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages
- Demonstrated use of analytical packages and query languages such as Python and R
- Experience in the design and execution of analytical projects
- Experience working effectively in a multi-tasking, high-volume environment
